Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Job Description:

Looking for a highly energetic and motivated individual with excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills to assist us in recruiting talented professionals to join our team. This is a multifaceted and fast-paced role that requires a high level of attention and organization of multiple candidates, stages and requests. This role is vital to our growth as it provides the “first impression” of August Schell. Your role will be responsible for providing candidates with quality assistance throughout the entire recruiting processing. The ideal candidate will quickly grasp the August Schell culture and effectively promote open opportunities and other growth initiatives of the company. Experience or networks within the IC and/or DoD communities is a plus.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to compile position requirements for job description
  • Source suitable candidates using company provided recruiting databases
  • Review and filter candidate resumes – assessing skills, qualifications and experience related to job requirements
  • Conduct screening calls with candidates to gauge interest, personality and salary requirements
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with internal team/hiring managers
  • Draft and send follow-up communication to candidates
  • Frequently update and maintain internal candidate tracking system
  • Track and manage all candidates – including knowledge of each candidate stage and latest activity
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to promote job fairs and/or networking events
  • Promote company and/or positions with frequent postings to social media platforms
  • Provide weekly reports/updates to hiring team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a staffing environment with full cycle recruiting
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter

  • Excellent organization skills – will be required to manage multiple moving calendars, tasks and candidates

  • Experience in conducting interviews
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases — LinkedIn Recruiter/TalentHub, Clearance Jobs, Microsoft SharePoint

  • Experience working in fast-pace and high-pressure environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust to changes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience sourcing and staffing cleared candidates
  • Experience sourcing and staffing candidates in the IT Community, plus
  • Working knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Deeper knowledge of technical skills required for openings

Additional Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
